The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday February 5, 1916 Word was received in Topeka last night of the death of J.T. WHITE, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clyde Lawrence, at Ottumwa, Ia. Mr. White was formerly an old resident of Topeka, having lived here for thirty years. He left two years ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Lawrence. He is survived by four sons, Frank White and Paul White of Topeka, Charles White, of Kansas City, Kan., and J.D. White of San Diego, Cal., and three daughters, Mrs. Ed Ausbasher of Arkansas City, Kan., Mrs. Ed Eyler of Atchison, Kan., and Mrs. Clyde Lawrence, of Ottumwa, Ia. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery. Mr. White was 82 years old.
