The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 26, 1958 Joseph Taggart. Joseph TAGGART, 83, of 1262 Boswell, died Monday night in a Topeka hospital. He was born November 1, 1874, at Wooster, Ohio, and had lived in Topeka since 1900. He was cashier in the Santa Fe treasurer's office when he retired in 1945 after 45 years of service with the company. He was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Taggart, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Overpeck of the home and Mrs. Doris Lentz, Seneca; four sons, William R. Taggart, Rossville; Robert C., Dr. Floyd C. and Glenn V. Taggart, all of Topeka; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two sistes, Mrs. Frank METZGER, Ozawkie, and Mrs. Norman O. West, Cuyanhoga Falls, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Mount Hope Cemetery. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
