The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday October 4, 1960 Mrs. Brickley Dies at Home; Rites Pending. Mrs. Maude C. BRICKLEY, 84, 1135 College, died Monday at her home after a long illness. Born Aug. 25, 1876, at Mortonsville, Ky., she lived in Topeka 50 years. She formerly was employed by Warren M. Crosby Co. and later was self-employed as a milliner. Mrs. Brickley was a member of the First Methodist Church, Beulah Chapter No 34, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Womens Club. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. May Pendry, and a brother, Ben Davis, both of Kansas City, and several nieces and nephews. Services are pending at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Florence.
