    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday October 8, 1951 Mrs. Frankie Nickerson. Mrs. Frankie Edith NICKERSON, 200 Woodlawn, died Sunday morning at her home. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, coming to Topeka as a child with her parents. She has lived here since. Mrs. Nickerson was a member of Grace Cathedral and the Young Matron's Club; a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Capitol Post No. 1; and a former member of the Grace Cathedral choir. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Frankie Helen Nickerson of the home; two sisters, Miss Goldie E. Smith and Miss Jennie E. Smith of the home; two brothers, James E. Smith, 1612 Mulvane, and Charles E. Smith, Mt. Morris, Ill.; a number of nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery. Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary will announce funeral arrangements.
