The Topeka Daily Capital Friday April 3, 1936 M'Gee Word has been received in Topeka telling of the death of Walter "Dedaddle" McGEE, 48, former Topekan, in Kansas City, Mo. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie McGee, of Topeka; three sistes, Mrs.Lula Joyce, Mrs. Amanda Davis, and Mrs. Leona Bailey, all of Topeka; five nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be at Gaines and Sons funeral home, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Auburn cemetery.
