The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday July 16, 1939 Walter Scott Glover. Walter Scott GLOVER, 71, father of Earl Glover, prominent Topeka architect, died Saturday night in a Topeka hospital. He was born November 28, 1867, in Terre Haute, Ind., and came to Topeka in 1903. He had made his home here since that time. While in Terre Haute, Mr. Glover was connected with the public schools. His wide acquaintance thruout the state was established during the thirty years which he spent as traveling representative of several Eastern dry good firms. He was a member of the Central Congregational Church and several traveling men's organizations. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maude Glover, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles A Martin of Topeka; one son, Earl Glover; one brother, Frank Glover of Ontario, Calif.; one sister, of Terre Haute, and six grandchildren. The body was taken to the Penwell Funeral Home, pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
