The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday October 4, 1960 Kathryn E. McLain. Services were held Sunday at Hays for Miss Kathyrn E. McLAIN, 85, 1519 Lincoln. Burial was in Mount Allen Cemetery there. SHe died Thursday in Ellsworth. Although she kept a home in Topeka, she lived at the Good Samaritan Home in Ellsworth since 1955. Born Oct. 29, 1874, at Canton, Ohio, she came to Kansas as a child. She was a school teacher in Ellis County 40 years and moved to Topeka in 1947. She attended Central Congregational Church here.
