The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday March 4, 1961 Maude E. Moore. Private services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel for Mrs. Maude E. MOORE, 88, 1135 College, who died Friday in the Methodist Home. She lived in Abilene before moving here in 1901. She was born at Staunton, Ill., June 6, 1872, and was charter member of the Minerva Club and was active in the Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, the late Charles A. Moore, was president of the Liberty Life Insurance Co. Surviving are a son, William Beverly Moore of Prairie Village, and a daughter, Mrs. John O. Downey, Hotel Kansan. Entombment will be in Mount Hope Abbey.
