The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday June 11, 1939 William Ready. William READY, 75, died Saturday morning in Kansas City, Mo. He was born September 6, 1863, in Kansas and lived in Topeka from 1917 until 1932. He had made his home in Kansas City for the past seven years. He was a member of the North Topeka Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Simpson, Mrs. E.C. Wilson and Mrs. William McGuire, all of Topeka, and Mrs. Max Matwigof, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Frank and Robert Ready, both of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. L.S. Grantz, of Hunter, Okla., and Mrs. J. Gross, of McLouth; nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will arrive in Topeka Sunday night and will be taken to the Peebler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Valley Falls Cemetery.
