The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday February 5, 1952 James H. Jeter. James H. JETER, 55, of 1030 Monroe, died Monday morning in a Topeka hospital after a heart attack. He was born March 30, 1896, in Lyndon and was an employee of the Forbes Air Force Base. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles Lodge. He is survived by a son, James E. Jeter, stationed in Korea; a stepson, W.A. Zimmerman, Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. T.J. Mikulka, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. William Richards, Topeka; a brother, Otho Jeter, Lyndon, and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Topeka Cemetery.
