The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday November 7, 1951 Isham Jeffries. Isham Jeffries, 68, died Tuesday morning at his home in Silver Lake. He was born August 27, 1883, in DeKalb County, Missouri. He had made his home in Silver Lake most of his life. He was on the Silver Lake City Council many years. He was a carpenter and had erected several buildings in that city. He was a member of the Silver Lake Baptist Church. Mrs. Jeffries is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rozella Jeffries of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Wilt, Rossville; a son, Billy Jeffries, Silver Lake; two brothers, Dave Jeffries, Los Angeles, and Edward Jeffries, Silver Lake and three grandchildren. The funeral will be a 2 p.m. Thursday at the Silver Lake Methodist Church with burial in Silver Lake Cemetery.
