The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday October 7, 1951 Miss Liberty Luthey. Miss Liberty Lucil LUTHEY, 33, died Saturday at her home, 1115 Topeka Avenue. She was born April 6, 1918, at Carbondale, Kan. She had lived in Kansas her entire life and in Topeka for the past 16 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Beulah Chapter OES. She was employed for the past 15 years in the car service department of the Santa Fe Railway. Surviving are her parents, Joe P. Luthey, Carbondale; a twin brother, Louis L. Luthey,Chicago; two sisters, mrs. Leo Gangel, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. James Gibbs, Memphis, Tenn.; and her grandfather, Frank S. Coperly, Dallas, Texas.
