The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday March 4, 1961 James Wagner. James WAGNER, 61, 110 1/2 E. 4th, died Friday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. He lived in Topeka since 1954. Mr. Wagner was born Jan. 9, 1900, at Tolette, Ark, and lived more than 30 years in Kansas City where he operated a barbershop. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Kansas City. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lilly Wagner of Kansas City, Kan.; three daughters, Miss Lucille Lee Wagner, Miss Sedalia Wagner and Miss Gloria Jean Wagner, and two sons, John T. and Arthur J. Wagner, all of Kansas City; two brothers, Brice Wagner of Kansas City and A. Wagner of Tolette; and a sister, Mrs. Stacie Graves of Tolette. Brennan Funeral Home is in charge.
