The Topeka Daily Capital Monday April 21, 1947 William Peter Phillips. William Peter PHILLIPS, 79, died Sunday at his home, 325 Quincy. Born in Montgomery County, Virginia, he had lived in Topeka the past 58 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lillian LAMBERSON, of the home, and Mrs. Mollie CRIDEN, Crescent, Okla.; one brother, Preston M. Phillips, Topeka; several nieces and nephews. The body is at Gaines and Sons pending funeral arrangements.
