The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday April 19, 1947 Mrs. Mary Katherine Fox. Mrs. Mary Katherine FOX died unexpectedly Friday afternoon at her home, 316 Harrison. She was born in Ulm, Germany, April 28, 1871, and came to the United States a year later. The family first settled in Des Moines, Iowa, where Mrs. Fox received her education. She was married to Charles F. Fox, November 15, 1893, and the couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1943. Mrs. Fox was a member of the Methodist Church, the 101 Thimble Club, the Order of Eastern Star, the Saturday Afternoon Club at Burlingame and the Security Benefit Association. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Nally F. SPANGLER of the home and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fox preceded his wife in death in 1944. Funeral services will be held at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, Monday at 2 p.m., and burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
