The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday April 19, 1947 Ernest Wilson. Ernest WILSON, 51, died Friday at his home, 2410 West Second. Mr. Wilson was born in Topeka and spent his entire life here. He was a member of Brown's Chapel A.M.E. church, a veteran of World War I, and a member of Jordan Patterson Post, No. 319. He leaves, besides his wife, Mrs. Zanthia Wilson, his mother, Mrs. Judith Wilson of Topeka; two daughters, Willa Jane and Estella May Wilson, and a son, Ernest Jr., all of the home; six sisters, Mrs. Willa MAYHUE and Mrs. Jessie JOCKSON of Topeka, Mrs. Ruth JOHNSON, Mrs. Juanita WILSON, and Mrs. Elizabeth DOLEMAN, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Josephine Oliver of Chicago; three brothers, Harrison, Frank and Clifford Wilson all of Kansas City, Mo. The body was taken to the Bowser Mortuary.
