The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 20, 1947 Thomas C. Porter. Thomas C. PORTER, 83, of Scranton, died Friday at his home. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Olive Porter of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel POUPENEY of St. Louis and Mrs. Pearl CROOK of 1237 Clay; two sons, Hugh R. of Farmington, Mo., and J.R. Porter of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Scranton Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Scranton cemetery.
