The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 17, 1951 Charles J. Fisher Charles J. FISHER, 78, of Holton, died Tuesday afternoon. He was born in Platte County, Missouri, December 24, 1872, and had lived in Holton more than a year. Prior to that he had lived in the Soldier vicinity about 70 years. He wa a farmer and stockman. He was married December 30, 1897, to Della MANUEL, who survives. He also leaves three sons, Paul and Harland, of Soldier, and Pearl of Topeka; one daughter, Mrs. Flossie GUNTHER, of Mayetta; a brother, W.L. FISHER, of Manhattan; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of Soldier Lodge No. 240, A.F. & A.M. for 53 years. The lodge will conduct ritualistic services at the grave.
