Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel for James Edwin (Eddie) JOHNS, 60, 1531 Westover Road who died Saturday in a Kansas City hospital. He was owner of the Royal College and Louvre Boot Shop of Topeka. He was born April 1, 1900, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Johns had been in Topeka business since 1931. At one time he had stores in Salina, Kansas City, Emporia and St. Joseph, Mo. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Johns of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Violet BLANK of Newport, Ky.; and Mrs. Lillie KIRBY of Fort Thomas, Ky.; and two brothers, Byron Johns of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Willard Johns of Bellevue, Ky.
