    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday December 5, 1960 Alfred Fager Is Dead at 63; Services Set. Alfred W. FAGER, 63, 522 W. 8th, a retired deputy sheriff and resident of Topeka since 1932, died Sunday. Born at Quenemo, Sept. 1, 1897, Mr. Fager was a vertan of World War II. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, American Legion Capitol Post No. 1, Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, Topeka Consistory, Scottish Rite bodies and the Arab Shrine. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Oletha P. FAGER of the home; one son, Marion Alfred Fager of Onaga; a stepdaughter, Mrs. mary E. POWELL of Manhattan; his father, William Harve FAGER of 1015 N. Jackson; a brother, Alva J. FAGER of 1520 Polk and five grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Richard L. Harder, chaplain of the Veterans Administration Hospital will officiate. Graveside services will be conducted by Golden Rule Lodge No. 90.
