    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 7, 1952 William M. Wanamaker. William M. WANAMAKER, 73, died Sunday morning at his home, 531 Kouns. He was born July 16, 1878, near Barnes, Kan., and lived in the Barnes community until he moved to Topeka seven years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bessie Wanamaker, of the home; six sons, Floyd D. Wanamaker, of Russell, Howard Wanamker of Stockton, Sherred, W. Orman, Mr. Jay and M. Eugene Barnes all of Topeka; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph CLARK of Frankfort, Mrs. Orville THOMAS of Sabetha, and Mrs. Joe MIDDLETON of Burlington, Wis.; five brothers, George and Glenn Wanamaker of Barnes, Fred Wanamaker of Washington, Jay Wanamaker of Manhattan, and Wallace Wanamaker of Waterville; two sisters, Mrs. Cora BROWN of Topeka, and Mrs. Hugh CALEY of Greeley, Colo.; 23 granchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Barnes Methodist Church with burial in Barnes Cemetery.
