The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday February 4, 1961 Ida Banfield Funeral Set For Today. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Ida May Banfield, 71, 1132 N. Kansas, who died Thursday at her home. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. She was born in Manhattan Jan. 14, 1880, and lived in Topeka most of her life. Surviving are a son, john Ralph Banfield, 1720 Meadow Lane; a daughter, Mrs. Leland JERRELL of Hayward, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Topeka Chapter of American War Mothers, had 1,000 volunteer hours at Veterans Administration Hospital and the North Topeka Baptist Church.
