The Topeka Daily Capital Friday June 16, 1939 John M. Quarles. John M. QUARLES, died Thursday night at his home, 512 West Railroad Street. He was born in Christian County, Kentucky, and had been a resident of Topeka for the past twenty-five years. He is survived by two sisters, Miss Hannah Quarles, Topeka and Mrs. Lucy SIMMONS of Denver, Colo.; two nieces and one nephew. The body was taken to Gaines and Son Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
