The Topeka Daily Capital Friday June 16, 1939 Richard S. Paxton. Funeral services for Richard S. PAXTON, who died Wednesday in Larned, will be Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery. Mr. Paxton was born August 7, 1849, in Lawrenceburg, Ky., came to Nevada, Mo., where he lived for fifteen years. Later he moved to Topeka and was an employe of the Capper Publications, Inc., for twenty-two years. He is survived by one brother, Elie Paxton, Waxahachie, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. C.A. KNAPP, Wichita; four grandchildren, Mrs. George H. JOHNSON, Salina; Mrs. Cleon H. LEWIS, Wichita; Dr. John R. and Dr. Frank S. Paxton, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Barbara Ruth JOHNSON, George H. Johnson, Jr., and Josephe Alden Johnson, all of Salina and John R. Paxton, II, of Los Angeles, Calif.
