The Topeka Daily Capital Friday February 3, 1961 James O. Duncan. James O. DUNCAN, 78, of Lawrence, died Thurdsay. Mr. Duncan, a farmer, is survived by his widow, Maude, of the home; one son, Harold Duncan of Lawrence; two daughters, Lola Duncan of Lawrence and Mrs. Ruth Schoetflin of Lyndon; two brothers, Elmer Duncan of Rushville, Mo., and Charles Duncan of Armarillo, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Dora MAY of McLouth; and Mrs. Francis TAYLOR of Kansas City, Kan.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rumsey Funeral Home Chapel in Lawrence. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence.
