The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday October 6, 1960 Alfred Grice Rites To Be Held Friday. Services for Alfred Dennis GRICE, 35, of 1400 Argyll, will be at 8 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Church. He died Tuesday night in a Topeka hospital. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Born Aug. 17, 1925, at Overbrook, he lived most of his life in Topeka. He was an architectural engineer employed by the Federal Housing Administration. Mr. Grice was a member of the St. Matthew's Catholic Church and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucy A. Grice, and four daughters, Linda, Cara, Kim, and Mary Lou Grice, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Belle Grice, 1915 Lane; one brother, David Grice of El Paso, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy PIPER, 4208 W. 21st, and Mrs. Mary WILLETT of Los Angeles, Calif. The body will lie in state from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Brennan Funeral Home. The parish rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. and the Holy Name Society rosary at 7:45 p.m. today at the funeral home.
