The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 2, 1951 William R. Alspach. William R. ALSPACH, 72, Topeka printer, died Thursday afternoon in a Topeka hospital. His home was at 916 West Ninth. He was born November 10, 1873(8?), in Butler, County, Pa. and had made his home in Topeka since 1935(1925). He was a compositor in the State Journal's composing room during most of his residence in Topeka, altho he had worked on both Topeka dailies. He retired about three years ago. He was a member of the Topeka Typographical Union. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lamotte GROVER, White Plains, N.Y.; two sisters, Miss Grace and Miss Anna Alspach, both of the home and two grandchildren.
