The Topeka Daily Capital Friday February 1, 1952 Frederick Lutz. Frederick LUTZ, 75, lifelong resident of the Richland community, died Thursday in a Topeka hospital. He was born March 19, 1876, near Richland. He was a member of the Luthern Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wilma MYERS, Berthoud, Colo.; Mrs. Maysel MEGUMIDLE, Route 1, Topeka; and Mrs. Virginia BARNES, Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Harley LUTZ, Berryton; four sisters, Mrs. Dora GANTZ, Durham, Okla.; Mrs. Bertha SIMMONS, El Dorado; Mrs. Minnie SUTTON, Lecompton, and Mrs. Ida KRAUSE, Overbrook; three brothers, William Lutz, Berryton, Edwin Lutz, Mound City, and Theodore Lutz, Durham, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the United Brethren Church at Richland with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
