The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 19, 1958 Mrs. Ellen McCormick. Mrs. Ellen McCORMICK, 83, of St. Marys, died Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank MOHAN, 1256 Washburn. She was born November 10, 1874, in Jefferson City,Mo., and moved to Blaine, Kan., with her parents when she was a child. She and her husband, C.E. McCORMICK, moved to a farm north of St. Marys in 1910. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1948 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John HOMAN at St. Marys. Besides her husband she is survived by five sons, William A. McCORMICK, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Eugene McCORMICK, of the home; Maurice and James McCORMICK, both of Monore, La., and Francis McCORMICK, Topeka; five daughters, Mrs. Marie BROWNE, Mrs. Elizabeth LOPER and Mrs. Gertrude MOHAN, all of Topeka; Mrs. Regina HOMAN, St. Marys, and MRs. Veronica HARVEY, Salida, Colo.; 36 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry HIGGINS, St. Marys, and edward HIGGINS, Kent, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Bridget PENDEGAST, Blaine, Kan. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys. Funeral sevices will be at the Immaculate Conception Church at St. Marys at 9 a.m. Thursday with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys.
