The Topeka Daily Capital Monday October 1, 1951 Dr. Martha Madtson Dies, Former Beloit Physician. Dr. Martha M. MADSTON, 70, died Sunday night at her home, 1606 Boswell. She was born July 14, 1881, in Norway and came to the United States with her parents when she was three years old. She obtained her A.B. degree from Washburn University and her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She began to practice medicine in 1916 at Beloit. She had made her home in Topeka since 1947. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Beloit and the Neoma Eastern Star Chapter at Beloit. She is survived by two brothers, C.J. MADTSON, Albuquerque, N.M., and A.G. MADTSON, Ottawa; a niece and two nephews. Burial will be in Beloit.
