The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 8, 1951 Mrs. Alice I. Henley. Mrs. Alice I. HENLEY, 48, wife of J.E. HENLEY, died Sunday at her home, 1129 Quincy. She was born May 13, 1902 in Finney County, Kansas, and lived in Dodge City and Garden City before moving to Topeka in 1945. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Garden City. Besides her two husband, she is survived by two sons, J.W. HENLEY and Stephen Dwight HENLEY, both of the home; four daughters, Greta Glee, Alice Ann, and Lois Elaine HENLEY, all of the home; and Mrs. Barbara HECHT, Topeka; two brothers, Fred GRIFFIN, Garden City, and Wayne GRIFFIN, Alhambra, Calif.; four sisters, Miss Clara GIRFFIN, Dodge City, Mrs. Ralph COEN, Garden City, Mrs. George ROBERTS, Cimmarron and Mrs. Fred JOHNSON and several grandchildren.
