The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 10, 1939 Charles E. Anderson. Charles Edward ANDERSON, 69, died Sunday night at his home, 304 East Fourth Street. He was born September 11, 1869, in Stockholm, Sweden, and came to the United States with his parents at the age of nine months, settling at Osage City. He has been a resident of Topeka for the past fifty years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace ANDERSON of the home; one daughter, Mrs. George HAYDON, Topeka; two sons, Chester ANDEROSN of the home, and Eugene ANDERSON of Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Samuel BURNS, Topeka; Mrs. Emma RAMSAY, Osage City; Mrs. Carl WALSTROM, Osage City, and Mrs. Ida DOW, Osawatomie; two brothers, John and Fred ANDERSON, both of Topeka, and two grandchildren. The body is lying in state at Penwell's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
