    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 10, 1939 Frederic L. Evarts. Frederic L. EVARTS, 81, retired printer, died Sunday at his home, 619 Buchanan Street. He was born February 13, 1858, in Hartford, Conn., came to Topeka with his parents at the age of nine and had been a resident here since that time. He operated a printing shop at 620 Kansas for forty years, retiring twelve years ago. Evarts was a member of the First Congregational Church, Blue Lodge No. 17, A.F.& A.M., Scottish Rite and Beulah Chapter No. 34, O.E.S. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary J. EVARTS of the home; one daughter, Miss Hattie Belle EVARTS, also of the home, and one sister, Mrs. L.O. MAXWELL, Gove, Kan. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
