The Topeka Daily Capital Monday October 1, 1951 Mrs. Martha C. Weil. Mrs. Martha Christina WEIL, 76, of 509 East Thirteenth, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. She was born March 2, 1875, in Pomorn, Germany, and came to Kansas with her parents when she was 14 years old. They settled at Clearfield, Kan. She was married December 25, 1891, to George Edward WEIL, of Lawrence. They made their home in Douglas and Osage countiies until they moved to Topeka in 1912. Her husband died in 1931. She is survived by three sons, Ralph Edward WEIL, Denver, Colo.; Victor Irwin WEIL, Los Angeles, Calif.; and George Dewey WEIL, Topeka; three daughters, Mrs. Elisha Lewis CRYER, Belene, N.M.; Mrs. Forest MARSHALL, Terre Haute, Ind.; and Mrs. Robert H. JAMISON, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. H.S. STEVICK, Topeka; a brother, Henry A. POOCH, Los Angeles, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Clearfield Cemetery.
