The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday October 2, 1951 Newton I. Townsend. Newton I. TOWNSEND died Sunday evening at his home in Manchester, Tenn. He was 57 years old. He is survived by three children, Newton I. TOWNSEND, Jr., and Robert TOWNSEND, both of Topeka, and Mrs. Robert SCOTT of Pulaski, Tenn.
