The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 10, 1951 Orval Harris. Orval HARRIS, 70, former Topekan, died Monday in Glendale, Ariz., according to word received by his brother, Walter W. Harris, 831 Lincoln. Mr. Harris was a trunk maker and an employee of the Topeka Leather Co. before leaving Topeka. He was in the trunk business in Arizona for a time and later operated a grocery store until he retired. He is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Wilder of Topeka; two sons, Blaine and Robert Harris of Glendale; three brothers, Walter W. Harris of Topeka; Charles Harris, Phoenix, Ariz., and Frank Harris, Chandler, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Homer Repp and Mrs. Lola Murphy, both of California; and two nephews, Glenn Harris, Amarillo, Texas and Richard Harris of Topeka. Interment will be in Glendale.
