The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday November 16, 1927 Charley Williams Dead. Former Salina Man Dies in Hillcrest Sanitarium. Charley WILLIAMS of 1200 Monroe street, died in Hillcrest yesterday morning. He was born in Warren county, Ky., in 1886 and moved to Salina in 1907. He had made his home in Topeka nine years. He is survived by his wife, three stepchildren, Edna, Stella and Woodrow HILL; his parents Mr. and Mrs. George WILLIAMS, Salina; and five sisters, Mrs. Frances HITE and Miss Mattie WILLIAMS, Topeka; Mrs. Lulu JENNINGS, Miss Lois WILLIAMS, and Miss Helen WILLIAMS, Salina. Funeral services will be at Stone street chapel at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Mount Auburn cemetery.
