The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 10, 1939 Nathan D. Jagars. Nathan D. JAGARS, 82, died Sunday at the home of his brother, J.R. JAGARS, 501 Freeman Avenue. He was born September 14, 1857, in Hawsville, Ky. In 1881 he moved to Kansas City, Mo., where he owned and operated the Jagars Fish Market for forty-seven years. For the past two years he has been making his home with his brother. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. W.R. DUNHAM, Topeka; three brothers, D.C. JAGARS, Long Beach, Calif.; R.K. JAGARS, Kansas City, Mo., and J.R. JAGARS, Topeka. The body is lying in state at Penwell's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
