The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 1, 1952 Walter A. Graham. Walter A. GRAHAM, 61, president of the Graham Trucking Co., one of the pioneers of the trucking industry, died Sunday in Kansas City. He was well known in Topeka. He started the transfer business with a horse and wagon in Kansas City when he was 17 years old. His business grew until it spread thruout the Middlewest. A branch office has been maintained in Topeka for many years. His company is one of the oldest operating in Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Graham; a son, Lyle O. Graham, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Edith MILLER, Columbus, Ohio and three brothers, Jesse M. Graham of Gahanna, Ohio; Rae Graham of Columbus, Ohio, and Herschel Graham of Sugar Grove, Ohio. The funeral will be Thursday in Kansas City.
