The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 1, 1952 Mrs. E. W. Purdy. Mrs. E. W. PURDY, wife of the former pastor of the Third Christian Church in Topeka, died Sunday in St. Joseph, Mo., according to word received by Mr. and Mrs. George HOOVER, 226 Lake. The Rev. Mr. Purdy was pastor of the Third Christian chruch for about six years. He had been pastor of a church in St. Joseph, Mo. for 15 years. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph.
