The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 2, 1952 William James. William "Red" JAMES, 217 Branner, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Mary 18, 1901, at Rossville, Kan., and had been a resident of Topeka since 1929. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad in the machine shope for the past ten years. During World War II, he served in an artillery unit. Survivors include his father, C.E. JAMES, Rossville; and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel SOMERS, 1724 Central Park, and Mrs. Vina McCORD, Rossville.
