The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 9, 1951 Mrs. A.A. Alderfer. Mrs. A.A. ALDERFER, long-time resident of Topeka, died Saturday night in Lebanon, Ore. Mrs. Alderfer's husband operated a grocery store at 10th and Mulvane for many years nd she operated it for several years after his death. Mrs. Alderfer was an active member of the First Christian Church while in Topeka and was active in state missionary work. She was president of the Council of Church Women of Topeka at one time. She had made her home in Lebanon, Ore., for the past two and one-half years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leo Quackenbush, of Lebanon, Ore., and Mrs. Robert Worthington, of Seattle, Wash.; three grandchildren, Carol and Brian Quackenbush, and Alan Worthington; and a sister, Mrs. W.B. Steward, of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services and interment were Monday at Lebanon.
