The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday March 23, 1958 Mrs. Mary E. Rose. Mrs. Mary Ellen ROSE, 77, died Saturday morning at her home, 1102 Republican. She was born March 5, 1881, near Auburn. Mrs. ROSE was a member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Charles BEAN, 2123 Fillmore, and Mrs. Sam WOODCOX, 2114 Kansas Avenue; two brothers, George MOORE and Willard MOORE, both of Wakarusa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Auburn Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Simerwell Cemetery near Auburn. Mrs. ROSE will lie in state at Parker Mortuary until noon Monday.
