The Topeka Daily Capital Monday November 21, 1927 W.T. Schmidt Is Dead. Native Topekan Lived All His LIfe Here. William T. SCHMIDT, 43, of 216 Taylor street, died in the Santa Fe hospital yesterday morning. He was born in Topeka and spent his entire life here. He was an employe of the Santa Fe Railroad Co. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha SCHMIDT; three children, Leo, William and Virginia SCHMIDT, all of Topeka; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles SCHMIDT, Topeka; four brothers, John SCHMIDT, Moberly, Mo.; Charles SCHMIDT, Alma; Herman SCHMIDT, Horton; and Joseph SCHMIDT, Detroit, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. F.B. HARRIS, Topeka. Funeral services will be at the Holy Name church at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be Mount Calvary cemetery. His body will repose at the Schmidt home from 2 o'clock this afternoon until Tuesday morning.
