The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday November 20, 1927 Shock of Fall Is Fatal. Mrs. Maria Dunn Knox, 88, Died in Atchison Last Night. Mrs. Maria Dunn KNOX, former Topekan, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.E. HINSHAW, in Atchison, at 6 o'clock last night. Death resulted from the shock of a fall downstairs Thursday night. She was a resident of Topeka for more than 30 years but for the past nine years had made her home with her daughter in Atchison. She was a member of the Christian church. Besides her daughter, she is survived by two sons, H.G. KNOX, 204 Watie street, and Harry KNOX, Almosa, Colo. Her body will be brought to Topeka for burial. Funeral services will be at the West Side Christian church as 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.
