The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday March 27, 1951 Dr. John S. McElroy. Dr. John S. McELROY, 61, Topeka dentist, died Monday at his home, 1030 College. He was born November 2, 1889, in Miltonvale, and was a graduate of the Olathe High School and the Kansas City Dental College. He practiced in Sterling before moving to Topeka 14 yars ago. Dr. McElroy was a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church and the Kansas and Shawnee County Dental socieities. He was obliged to retire on account of his health early in January. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela McElroy; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd J. BLAIR of the home; and Mrs. Frank ENGEL, Clay Center; and three grandchildren.
