The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday December 24, 1960 Cora Tichenor Dies Here at 80. Mrs. Cora L. TICHENOR, 80, 706 W. 3rd., died Friday in a Topeka hospital. She lived here 15 years. She was born Nov. 11, 1880, at Nodaway County in Missouri and was a member of the Free Methodist Church, 8th and Chandler. She came to Topeka from LeRoy, Kan. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Cleo IRWIN, 2142 Buchanan, Mrs. Burtrice CHADD of Madison, Mrs. Jessie MANNSCHRECK, 4404 W. 13th; a son, Fred Tichenor, Route 8; a foster son, Donald EWING, 1315 McAlister; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
