The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday December 25, 1960 Emma Leonard. Mrs. Emma LEONARD, 66, of Richland, died Saturday en route to a hospital in Topeka. She was the widow of the late Claude Leonard, former postmaster of Richland. She was born Dec. 26, 1893, at New York City and has been a resident of Richland since 1942. She formerly lived in Topeka for a number of years. She was a member of the Richland Evangelical United Brethren Chruch, The Brown Leonard Woodward Post of the American Legion and the Americal Legion Auxiliary. She was a Red Cross nurse during World War I. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Dorotha WITNAH, St. Louis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Richland EUB Church with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Graveside services will be held by the America Legion. Ted Tibbitts Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
