The Topeka Daily Capital Monday December 26, 1960 Local Woman Dies At Age 67. Mrs. Barbara APPLEHANZ, 67, 314 Harrison, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital. Born July 28, 1893, in Topeka, she was a member of St. Joseph's Church, the Altar Society and St. Anthony's Guild. Survivors include the widower, Jacob Applehanz fo the home; seven sons, Paul, 711 Lincoln, Ralph, 328 Golden Road, Raymond, 2244 N. Taylor, Adam, 1825 N. Taylor, Theodore of Route 5, Isadore, 5623 W. 13th, and Leonard, 1705 Seabrook; two daughters, Mrs. William BERWERT, 1518 N. Harrison and Mrs. Olan ALLEN, 2517 W. 10th; two brothers, John HEFNER, 213 Quinton, and ALbert Hefner, 1017 E. Bellview; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. CROMWELL, 213 Quinton, Mrs. John MAUER, 214 Harrison, and Mrs. Clarence SCHOENFELD, 204 Tyler; and 32 grandchildren. Matt Brennan Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
