The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday December 25, 1960 Maude Gibson Dies; Services To Be Monday. Mrs. Maude Baker GIBSON, 86, 2075 Fillmore, died Saturday at her home. She was born Sept. 27, 1874 in Jackson County, and spent her early life teaching in rural schools in Atchison and Jackson counties. She served as a practical nurse for several Topeka doctors from 1941 until she retired in 1945. She also was a practical nurse at the Ingelside Home. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Orville L. Gibson, 2121 Gage Blvd., and Philip C. Gibson, 3532 Avalon Lane; two daughters, Mrs. W.B. McADOW, of Ft. Meade, S.D.; and Mrs. Lois McREYNOLDS, 629 Lincoln; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Candace FLETCHER of Holton, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
